The Mere Court Hotel is a 4 star country house hotel and has been lovingly and skillfully restored and can offer the discerning guest a harmonious blend of the historic and the modern - combined with sheer luxury - An Edwardian family home originally built as a wedding present for William and Amy Dunkerley - Despite offering an ambience of rural tranquility - Mere Court is just 15 Minutes from Manchester Airport and within easy reach of Manchester City Centre - Knutsford - Warrington - Liverpool and the historic walled City of Chester and is easily accessible from the motorway networks - located near the M6 - M56 - M62 and M60 motorways - The hotel offers a wonderful location with mature gardens and lake - superb cuisine and extensive wine list - This hotel has played host to a number of notable guests and famous persons such as President Bill Clinton Children age 2 and under stay free in the room. Children age 3-12 will pay the Extra Child Charge of GBP 15.00 per night. Children over this age will be considered an adult. We allow only pets for the physically challenged guests. These are permitted on a request basis only. Service charges may apply - please check rate rules/displays Taxes may apply - please check rate rules/displays 4 rooms or more are considered a group. Cancellations MUST be made through the original booking channel or a cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations made by telephone or fax WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No-show fee is 1 night stay including tax. Exceptions may apply for specific rates - during holidays - special events or conventions. A deposit is not required for standard rates. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. The hotel will pre-authorise credit cards at time of reservation and reserves the right not to accept reservations with invalid credit cards.
