The B&B is composed by four rooms (four cells) and each one is dedicate to a member of the convent of San Marco Le Celle dei Frati. There are 4 rooms, 3 of them are double room, and the other one is a single room. Cella dei Frati n. 1 dedicated to FRA’ GIROLAMO SAVONAROLA (double room) Cella dei Frati n. 2 dedicated to FRA’ BARTOLOMEO (single room) Cella dei Frati n. 3 dedicated to FRA’ PAOLINO E FRA’ ANTONINO (double room) Cella dei Frati n. 4 dedicated to FRA’ BEATO ANGELICO (double room) Here there are many pictures of the rooms, whit a little explanation. The first double room with private bathroom, the Cella dei frati dedicate to Frà Girolamo Savonarola. 5 minute walking from the Castle there is a bus stop. Florence real city centre (The Dome, The Basilica of Santa Croce, The Convent of San Marco) are few minutes far. The Castello di Montalbano is the only one Castle in Florence, and if you like it, you can read about us on Wikipedia.com We are 5 minute far from the city center by car, and we have a big courtyard e special private parking inside our natural park. It is possible to rent a complete Celle dei Frati for exclusive use for holidays, for workshop or events. In the central windows of the castle are the Mussolini’s hall a special room where Chamberlain (English prime minister) and Mussolini had their political meetings. Now this room is dedicated to Meeting and Events organization in Florence with a total capacity of 50 seats. Between the tower a special roof garden terrace represents a special moment to admire Florence from a unique frame, an ideal site for relaxing area.
